Reformer Pilates is one of the most supportive, intelligent ways to move your body.

Created by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s, Pilates (originally called Contrology) was designed to build strength through control, precision, breath, and alignment. While interned during WWI, Joseph began attaching springs to hospital beds to help patients rebuild strength — and the Reformer was born!

The Reformer uses spring-based resistance to create a low-impact, full-body workout that strengthens your core, improves posture, builds long lean muscle, and enhances flexibility, all while being kind to your joints. The moving carriage both supports and challenges you, meeting you exactly where you are.

It’s strength training, mobility work, and mindful movement in one seamless flow.

If you’ve been curious, this is your sign ✨ The machine isn’t scary, it’s smart. And once you feel how strong and supported your body can be, you’ll understand why this method has lasted over 100 years!

This Valentine’s Day, fall in love with the most important relationship in your life — the one you have with yourself. ❤️‍🔥

Step into the heat.
Open your heart.
Breathe a little deeper.

Backbends aren’t just beautiful shapes, they’re heart openers. They ask for courage, softness, and trust. The perfect reminder that self-love isn’t just bubble baths and chocolates… it’s showing up for yourself, even when it feels vulnerable.

Whether you’re celebrating with someone special or flying solo, spend an hour pouring into you. Let your practice be your love letter. 💌

Join us on the mat this Valentine’s Day, we have a full day of classes for you!

Here’s what’s happening this month:
💗 Valentine’s Day–inspired, curated playlists to set the vibe
💗 A reduced schedule on Family Day so our team can spend time with loved ones
💗 Welcoming a new teacher to our community
💗 Fundraising for a local non-profit, Campfire Circle
💗 Preparing for our next challenge
💗 Exploring interest in upcoming teacher training

Thank you for braving the winter weather and continuing to show up—for yourselves and for each other. We can’t wait to share another beautiful month of practice with you!

What do the different spring colours mean?

Each spring represents a different tension:
🟡 light
🔵 medium
🔴 heavy
🟢 extra heavy

Now light does not always mean easy and heavy hard. Depending on the movement you are doing, a lighter spring could mean you need to have more control, creating more challenge than a heavier spring.

Our teachers are here to guide you on spring changes throughout class. Offering options to suite your practice 😊

Sore from shovelling?
Stiff from trekking through snowbanks?
Feeling like your hips and shoulders did not sign up for this storm?!

This is your sign to come thaw it out 🔥
Step into the heat, break a sweat, stretch it all out, and let the storm stress melt away. Warm muscles, deep stretches, and that ahhh feeling your body’s been craving.

You survived the snowstorm! Now reward yourself with time on your mat😊

Hello sunshine! ☀️❄️

While we’re soaking up this beautiful stretch of sunshine, we know more snow is likely on the way — it is winter in Canada, after all.

As always, your safety comes first. We kindly ask that you keep an eye on the forecast and plan ahead when traveling to and from class.

A few gentle reminders:
• Leave a little earlier to allow for extra travel time
• If winter driving makes you feel uneasy, please cancel your reservation early to avoid losing credits or incurring late fees

If weather conditions are deemed unsafe and we need to cancel a class, we will notify everyone registered via email and share updates on our social channels. We always aim to make these decisions at least 2 hours before class begins whenever possible.

Thank you for continuing to show up for your practice — through sunshine, snow, and everything in between. We see your commitment, and we’re so proud to be moving with you 🤍✨

How hot is hot? 🔥
And why does the room sometimes feel different?

Our studio is typically set to 38°C, with humidity ranging from 30–60%. But with our beautiful big windows, the outdoor weather plays a big role in how the room feels.

❄️ Cold outside? The room may feel a little cooler.
👥 More people in class? More bodies = more movement = higher humidity.
🌧️ Warm or rainy days? The room can feel humid much faster.

There are many factors that influence your experience—often without us touching the thermostat at all.

Our teachers are always actively monitoring the room, choosing sequences that build internal heat, and making adjustments when things get extra spicy 🌶️—like turning on fans or opening the door to keep things feeling safe and supportive.

While our team does their best to maintain a balanced environment, some things (hello, weather!) are simply out of our control. Any classes that are intentionally reduced in heat will always be clearly noted.

Thanks for flowing, sweating, and practicing with us 🤍

Returning to routine doesn’t mean rigidity — it means coming back to what supports you.

A consistent yoga + pilates practice builds physical strength and mobility, helping your body feel more stable and supported. Just as powerfully, it creates mental clarity — a steady place to breathe, focus, and reset in a busy world.

Come back to your mat. Come back to yourself. Consistency is where the magic unfolds. ✨
