When am I ready to move on from Foundations? What class should I try next? These are questions we get asked often!

And the answer is deeply personal. Only you know your body best, what your fitness background is like, and how confident you feel on the machine. But if you feel unsure about whether you are ready to start exploring new class styles, here are some questions to consider...

Do you feel confident navigating the reformer machine? Moving around, adjusting the springs, using the props...

Do you understand and integrate the cues that the teacher gives you?

If you are working with an injury, do you know what modifications to take and when?

If not, stick with Foundations a little longer. Typically, we recommend anywhere from 5-10 Foundations classes before moving onto Intermediate.

If you still have questions, feel free to chat with any of our amazing teachers. They’d be happy to support you and your Pilates journey!
