Foot Drills are exercises designed to help strengthen the muscles, tendons, and ligaments of the feet as well as the ankles, and lower legs. You may also feel these in the knees, hips, and lower back as you are a closed kinetic chain.

Always remember the childhood song...
Your ankle bones connected to the knee bone, the knee bones connected to the hip bone 😉

Best Performance: Bare foot on carpet or grass surfaces

Your Goal: Work up to 50 steps on each side every other day

Top Chiropractor-Recommended Sleep Positions for Optimal Comfort and Health

Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for overall health, but the way you sleep can have a big impact on your spine and body alignment. Chiropractors often see patients with back and neck pain caused or worsened by poor sleeping positions. Choosing the right sleep posture can reduce discomfort, improve spinal health, and help you wake up feeling refreshed.

Best Sleep Positions Recommended by Chiropractors:

Side Sleeping with Support

Sleeping on your side is one of the most recommended positions by chiropractors. It helps keep your spine straight and reduces acid reflux and snoring. To maximize benefits:
>Use a firm pillow that fills the space between your neck and mattress.
>Place a pillow between your knees to keep hips aligned.
>Avoid curling into a tight fetal position; keep your legs slightly bent.

This position is especially helpful for people with lower back pain or sleep apnea.

Back Sleeping with Proper Pillow Placement

Back sleeping supports the natural curve of your spine when done correctly. Chiropractors suggest:
>Using a pillow that supports the natural curve of your neck without pushing your head too far forward.
>Placing a small pillow or rolled towel under your knees to reduce lower back strain.
>Avoiding thick pillows that elevate your head excessively.

This position evenly distributes weight and reduces pressure on joints.

We are very excited about our new CLA Insight scans!

CLA Insight scans get a clear picture of how your nervous system is functioning. These scans are safe, non-invasive, and comfortable. They help us see how well your brain and body are communicating.

The three key areas of the CLA Insight scans:

> Muscle Tone (EMG): Shows combined outcomes of postural and neuromuscular exhaustion

> Temperature (Thermal): Helps us see how your nervous system is regulating and adapting, its impact on gland, tissue and organ function

> Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Gives insight into how your body handles stress and recovery – how well you adapt to daily and eventful stressors

These scans help guide care in a way that’s specific to you. They allow us to move beyond how you feel and understand how your body is actually functioning.

What is a CLA Insight Scan?
At ForeverYoung Chiropractic, we are excited to use CLA Insight scans to get a clear picture of how your nervous system is functioning. These scans are safe, non-invasive, and comfortable. They help us see how well your brain and body are communicating—without any guesswork.

What do the scans measure?
Your CLA Insight scan looks at three key areas:
> Muscle Tone (EMG): Shows combined outcomes of postural and neuromuscular exhaustion
> Temperature (Thermal): Helps us see how your nervous system is regulating and adapting, its impact on gland, tissue and organ function
> Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Gives insight into how your body handles stress and recovery – how well you adapt to daily and eventful stressors

Why does this matter?
Your nervous system controls everything in your body—from movement and sleep to digestion and healing. When there’s stress or imbalance, your body may not function at its best.

These scans help us:
> Detect areas of stress or imbalance
> Track your progress over time
> Personalize your care for better results

What does it mean for you and your family?
Whether it’s a child growing and developing, a parent managing daily stress, or someone working toward better overall health, these scans help guide care in a way that’s specific to you. They allow us to move beyond how you feel and understand how your body is actually functioning.

" healing takes time, and asking for help is courageous step "

mental health awareness month reminders we all need:
– you can’t always see what someone’s going through
– it’s okay to not be okay
– asking for help is a sign of strength
– you are enough
