Each month we'll be asking artists to dig through their favourites lists and pick the products they can’t live without. This month, it’s ’s turn….

Dynette’s been doing her thing for over 18 years now, and is the owner of in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We meet up with Dynette every year at the Hub City show in Moncton, where she helped us launch our Eikon Essentials DRAPE SHEETS…even making us blush by calling them sexy (although we do agree).

Dynette is a true jack of all trades, but her preferred style is Realism, in both black and grey, or full colour. Tattooing isn't her only skill, when her machine is down you can often find her painting, crafting, designing jewellery and costumes, and even working on murals.

As an East Coaster, you know she has an outdoor side to her, so when she’s not in the studio you can often find her on the baseball diamond, a hiking trail or just chilling on the beach.

Take the day off... You deserve it! 🇨🇦

Heads up! No surprises here, Eikon HQ will be closed for Canada Day (Tuesday, July 1st, 2025) so our team can spend the long weekend doing what they love to do (insert passions here), and we highly recommend that you do the same. Take the day off, you deserve it!

Here’s the fine print that Rebecca made us add…

“Customer Service will be available via phone and chat until 5:00pm EST Monday, June 30th, and then offline until Wednesday, July 2nd, where we’ll pick up where we left off."

As a reminder no orders will be shipping on Tuesday July 1st.

The second day of ended with a huge turn out for tattoo of the day, by the end of the first round there was barely any space left on stage!

But in the end stood above the rest with this insane sphinx piece that has us seeing double, congrats man!

It was a close competition with a ton of amazing pieces but is there any doubt when is in the running for tattoo of the day?

The ink master Tex took tonight’s trophy and a custom etched ES500 (Probably has a few by now) to close day one of the show.

took some time away from building and setting Lego traps for the elusive Quebecois Sasquatch, to give us a quick look at what's on his station…

Wayne McFarlane, a tattoo artist known for his modern take on classic Traditional tattooing, works out of Atelier Les Malins in L'Assomption, Quebec, just a 45-minute drive north of Montreal. Wayne blends European flair and pop culture touches into his work and, despite being a tattoo artist for only 3 years, has already made a name for himself (you’re about to see why…).

Like any good tattooist, Wayne finds cool and unique ways to stay busy outside the shop, like graphic design work, and building Lego worlds, as well as hunting, finding and fighting Sasquatch any chance he gets… He’s so good at it, we’ll be sending him a few boxes of our RAZORs so he can shave each Sasquatch he captures, before tattooing them and sending them back into the wild.

Happy 15th anniversary to the first “Dude” ever on our Customer Service team!

While artists have grown to love Ben, some were initially uncertain about his calm and cool demeanour, which led them to nickname him "The Professor" (which is way better than what they used to call him… "the sausage").

Now, 15 years later, Ben’s an important member of our Customer Service team, taking calls with that unmistakable TV-commentator voice of his, and solving your problems.

Best known here at HQ for his flamboyant shirts and the Santa hat he rocks all December long, you may have been impressed by Ben’s Beetlejuice costume during Draw All Month… and don’t get me started on his Magic card addiction.

Happy Anniversary man!
