Tomorrow! Sunday April 12th, 10-11:15am:
Buddha's Healing Medicine
Drop-in Meditation Class at The Spire

When suffering and problems bring us down, we can turn to a Buddhist meditation called "Taking" to strengthen our ability to face our own and others' difficulties with courage. This healing medicine has many other spiritual benefits: It purifies our negative karma, increases the causes for pure happiness, and nurtures our Buddha seed - our potential to become enlightened in order to benefit all living beings. With Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher Gen Chöyang.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series. Everyone is welcome!

Classes are at Kuluta Buddhist Centre at The Spire (82 Sydenham St. inside the Sydenham St. United Church), Rm. 205, 2nd Floor, Kingston ON. Elevator available.

Tonight! Thurs April 9th, 7-8:15pm
Living with Intention: Refuge, Karma & Reliance
Drop-in Buddhist Meditation Classes @ The Spire

When we live with intention, our life feels purposeful. Buddha’s teachings on refuge, karma, and reliance on a spiritual guide provide grounding, wisdom, and direction in a world that feels increasingly chaotic and out of control. These meditations are suitable for everyone and can be taken on whatever level feels comfortable and helpful. With Guest Buddhist Teacher Bill Spurrell.

These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the series.
