ADHD and self-compassion are deeply connected—but often overlooked.

Many individuals with ADHD have spent years feeling like they’re “not trying hard enough,” when in reality, they’re navigating differences in executive functioning, emotional regulation, and consistency.

Self-compassion isn’t about letting yourself off the hook. It’s about creating a more effective and sustainable way to support change.

When we reduce shame, we increase capacity for follow-through, problem-solving, and growth.

ADHD isn’t about not having focus—
it’s about not being able to access it consistently.

Some days, starting feels impossible.
Other days, you’re so locked in that the world disappears.

That’s hyperfocus.

And while it can feel productive…
it can also come with a cost:
→ burnout
→ time blindness
→ neglecting other needs

So the goal isn’t to “fix” your focus.
It’s to understand it—and learn how to work with your brain, not against it.
