Quality Improvement Practical Experience Program (QIPEP) - Now Looking for Students!

Quality improvement is essential to contemporary health care, however there is often little formal training in how to conduct such projects. The Quality Improvement Practical Experience Program (QIPEP) seeks to develop and enhance the patient safety and quality improvement competencies of participating students. The program includes online modules from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement and working on a project at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. These interdisciplinary teams are supervised by a Faculty of Health Sciences clinician with expertise in patient safety and/or quality improvement research. Projects begin in September and conclude in April of the following year.
