Chronic mild stress can be detrimental as well, just as an acute excess stress from a traumatic event
If the stress lingers in your system chronically that's the issue
👉 Stress isn't just psychological, there are many forms of stress
And guess what, you're body doesn't know or care about the various types
It all goes into one bucket and if that stress bucket overflows, acutely or chronically, you will become dis-eased acutely or chronically (ps acute accidents on top of a full chronic stress bucket often ends up like "fibromyalgia" )
The body can't handle anymore and forces you to slow down and stop
It just wants homeostasis
Balance ☯️
And your innately intelligent body will attempt to create this balance - but you may not like its approach
For example, your body may manifest neck pain because of your bad habit of chin to chest on your phone for hours
You may have a lot of gas because you don't chew your food
You may fatigue because you sleep with your phone under your pillow
You may develop SIBO because you can't metabolize sulfur
You may develop interstitial cystitis because you ate too many high oxalate foods (🙋♀️)
You may develop arthritis because you don't ever ground to the Earth or get sunlight on your skin
You may develop an autoimmune condition because you're detox pathways are blocked
These aren't diseases, they are symptoms of dis-ease
They are messages for change
They are attempts to seek Balance
Balance is where our life force energy thrives
