Move Authentically Physiotherapy Move Better, Breathe Better, Live Better! Each individual has a unique way of moving that they have learned throughout their life.

If one is missing movement, flexibility or strength in an area, another area will adapt and compensate. Throughout one’s life we accumulate these movement errors and they will eventually cause pain. At MAP we unravel these individual movement problems, like we are piecing together a puzzle. By examining the whole body’s movement we will find each individual’s true movement pattern.

Check out what Claire of The Wild Edge has going on this June! She is an amazing facilitator and these sessions are going to be such a treat! I'll be there on June 17th if you want to join me!

I am thrilled to announce the beginning of something new here at The Wild Edge. We are now offering lunch time sessions on Wednesdays at Lake Ontario Park in Kingston!

Midday Sit Spot sessions are a simple and accessible to support your mental health and overall wellbeing through connection to nature.

This ‘Club’ is a place where people can drop in on their lunch break for a dose of guided nature therapy. An intentional pause to unplug, rest and reset in an open and welcoming community. It’s an accessible practice suitable for all ages and abilities.

Perhaps you’ll come on your own? Perhaps you’ll wrangle a few co-workers or friends to join you? However you show up - know you are welcome - just as you are :)

And the best part? We are offering EVERYONE a FREE 1st session thanks to an Eco Grant from Thanks to this amazing local business and .of.kingston for their support.

Nerve pain into the arm isn’t always coming from the same place 👇

In this video, we break down the 3 main nerves that commonly cause symptoms into the arm and hand:
➡️ Ulnar nerve
➡️ Median nerve
➡️ Radial nerve

Each nerve creates different patterns of pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness, and understanding the difference can help guide the right treatment.

We also walk you through simple nerve glides you can use to help improve mobility, reduce irritation, and calm symptoms down 🔥

Turning anatomy into art 🎭✨
Vaidehi and I took on the challenge of bringing the myotomes of the upper and lower body to life — through dance. 💃🕺 Every movement represents a nerve root, every step tells a story of how our bodies function in motion. This took way longer to record than it should have 😂
