“Is it just me...?”
Nope. It’s not just you.
These are some of the most common things that happen in therapy that no one talks about—but should.
Whether you're new to therapy or a few months (or years) in, you might be surprised how many people share the same thoughts, feelings, and fears in the therapy room.
Therapy isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real. Which comes with a whole lot of rawness and insecurity.
Which one of these have you experienced? Or did we miss one? Drop it in the comments ⬇️

Happy Birthday Month, D’Arcy! 🎉🧀
This month's treatment plan: spontaneous dance breaks, artisanal cheese boards, and a healthy dose of podcast-fueled genius.
Diagnosing you with an incurable case of multi-talented magic ✨—you truly do it all (and then some). From hidden talents to headline-worthy projects, your creativity knows zero bounds.
Your charisma? Effortless. Your compassion? Next level. You don’t just work a room—you transform it, always with sincerity, curiosity, and that sparkly D’Arcy charm.
To another year of mastering the unmasterable, loving humans deeply, and leaving the world better (and more interesting) than you found it. 🩷 we can't wait to spend another wonderful year with you.

You become unstoppable when you start working on things others can't take away. Things like mindset, character, transparency, and your entire being.
This is the heart of therapy.
It's not just about managing stress or healing from the past—it's about building a version of you that no one can shake.
In therapy, we work on the inner foundation:
- mindset
- character
- self-awareness
- transparency
These are the parts of you that no one can take away—and when you strengthen them, you don’t just survive. You thrive.
🩷 our team is still accepting new clients. Reach out to schedule a free initial consult.

Another gentle reminder from your therapist:
A clear space = a clearer mind.😌
So yes, make your bed. Light a candle. Open a window. Toss that junk drawer chaos. Turn down the mental volume. Shut down that 47-tab browser in your brain (and computer). Unfollow that account, mute the group chat and remember not every e-mail needs an urgent response.
You don’t have to solve everything today.
You just have to make a little room — for breath, for stillness, for you.🩷

Just a friendly little reminder from your therapist (and this mug):
You don't have to earn rest, love or an afternoon coffee. ☕️ 🩷

I have worked in various settings before starting my private practice including but not limited to; community health centres, outpatient hospital programs, crisis response teams, children’s mental health, family and children’s services, youth residential treatment programs, youth detention facilities, adult shelter programs, and post-secondary student support programs.
I work from an integrated psychotherapy format that includes various approaches/interventions; allowing me to be flexible to meet you where you are at and help you improve your quality of life. Some of the common interventions I use are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing/Life Coach Interventions, Solution- Focused Brief Therapy and Strengths-Based/Client Centered Therapy.
I strive to provide a safe and confidential space with an empathetic and compassionate approach to support you in understanding yourself. I believe in the strengths of my clients and the importance of being heard, understood and supported. I provide supportive counselling as well as psychotherapy. As your therapist, I am dedicated to helping you recognize your areas of strengths and how to build on them. Through our time together, I will utilize the above interventions that apply specifically to you and your area of needs.
