This month we're also celebrating Britney and her 2-year journey with Wellness Within! 🩷

Britney first joined us as a placement student, and we were lucky enough to have her stay on as part of our team after graduation. Over the past two years, we've had the privilege of watching her grow from a compassionate and thoughtful student therapist into a quietly confident clinician.

Britney brings valuable insight and perspective to our supervision conversations and is always learning, researching, and seeking new ways to support her clients and share resources with our team. Her dedication to growth—both personally and professionally—has been inspiring to watch.

A special shoutout to Samantha as she celebrates 3 years with Wellness Within! 🩷

Samantha was our very first team member—the one who believed in the vision before the logo was even finished. Since day one, she has been a steady, compassionate presence, creating a safe and supportive space not only for her clients, but for me as well while navigating all the twists and turns of growing a business.

Over the years, she has balanced full-time work, private practice, and raising a beautiful family with incredible dedication and grace. While her availability may be limited, her commitment to our team and the people we serve has never wavered.

This month we’re celebrating a huge milestone for D’Arcy as she officially moves from Qualifying status into full Registered Psychotherapist status with the CRPO. 👏✨

This achievement reflects years of clinical work, supervision, continued education, personal growth, and dedication to meeting the rigorous standards required by the CRPO — all while supporting clients through life’s hardest moments with care and compassion.

What makes this even more inspiring is that D’Arcy accomplished all of this while raising a family, building multiple side hustles, and continuing to show up fully for the people around her. Her ability to balance ambition, compassion, creativity, and authenticity is something truly special.🩷

As her supervisor, I had the privilege of watching her grow into the therapist I always knew she would become. From the beginning, it was clear that D’Arcy had a natural ability to connect with people, create safety, and support others with empathy, humour, honesty, and genuine care. She has a way of helping people navigate difficult seasons while still making them feel seen, supported, and capable — all while encouraging them, in classic D’Arcy style, to celebrate the small wins and romanticize life along the way. ✨

Happy International Nurses Day to the amazing nurses in our community and our very own amazing Nurse Psychotherapist, Sarah 🦋

We’re so grateful to have her on our team and for the compassionate, whole-person care she brings to every client she supports. One of the many benefits of working with a Nurse Psychotherapist is having someone who understands both mental and physical health — helping clients feel supported in every aspect (or "parts"😏) of their well-being.

This year’s International Nurses Day is focusing on “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives,” and it is such an important reminder of the value, impact, and care nurses bring to our communities every single day.
