Do you really need a detox? Maybe, but it’s not what you think. Your liver is amazing at taking harmful things and making them safe to eliminate, but sometimes we ask too much of it and it gets over burdened.
Think about it - how well would you do your job if you were dehydrated, malnourished, and wearing the same dirty clothes you’ve been wearing for weeks? Not very well.
When your liver is overburdened it can effect your insulin sensitivity, increase cholesterol, and impact your hormones to name a few. These are all drivers of inflammation and impact your body’s ability to lose weight and function efficiently.

I am both delighted and humbled to say that we are expecting baby #2 ♥️

Supporting people on their health journeys means that I truly understand how bittersweet these posts can be.

I’ll be taking some time starting in October to await baby’s arrival, and will be back in office in the new year. Dr Scott, ND and the rest of the Kūrated team will be there to support you as my family welcomes its newest member.
