We’ve had a lot of thoughtful conversations at the clinic about this, and while it’s not something we love having to address, it’s important for us and for all of our clients 💛

Over the past 30 days, we’ve had a number of missed appointments. We completely understand that life happens — we’re human too, and unexpected things come up for us as well.

That said, even a few minutes’ notice makes a big difference. We often have clients waiting and hoping to take those last-minute openings, and missed appointments mean not only lost time for your RMT, but also a missed opportunity for someone else to receive care.

We truly appreciate your understanding and support of our updated cancellation/no-show policy. It helps us continue to provide the best care possible to all of our amazing clients — both new and returning.

I'm a massage therapist passionate about helping people feel their best through the power of healing touch. With 10 years of experience, I take a personalized approach to every session. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply need to relax and unwind, my goal is to create a safe, calming space where your body and mind can reset.

My love for athletics inspired me to pursue athletic therapy, which eventually led me to massage therapy—where I could combine my interest in the body’s mechanics with a hands-on approach to healing.

I believe deeply in the body’s natural ability to heal—and I’m here to support that journey every step of the way.

As both a business owner and practitioner, I take immense pride in the growth of the incredible team at KMT. Let me introduce myself! 👋
Hi, I’m Shannan — a Registered Massage Therapist with 18 years of experience, proud clinic owner of Kingston Massage Therapy, and mom to a busy 3-year-old!

I opened Kingston Massage Therapy in 2019 after relocating from my hometown of Perth, where I spent 10 years practicing in a multidisciplinary clinic. Over time I was offered a management role, which gave me valuable insight into clinic operations and inspired me to create a space of my own — one where RMTs could thrive and support one another. I’m proud to have built a thriving welcoming practice here in Limestone City!

My treatment style is adaptive and client-centered, incorporating techniques that address therapeutic needs while promoting nervous system regulation. Whether it’s deep tissue work using the Graston Technique, or more relaxation-focused methods, I always finish treatments with elements like heat, tractioning, and Swedish massage to help your body integrate the work.

I also offer specialized modalities, including:
Pre- and post-natal massage

Cupping therapy
Graston Technique / Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage
