Seeking nominations for the Gwen Armstrong Award!

Every year at the MedsHouse Spring Formal (this year, on March 26th), the Gwen Armstrong Award is presented in her honour to a member who has enriched the MedsHouse experience or demonstrated great commitment and respect for the House and its traditions. Past winners include Tania Yavorska & Justin Dirk, Alex Kiciak, Adam Zoccoli, Louisa Ho, Justin Puntillo, Justin Bell, Dylan H***e and Jack the Happy Chef. All persons who have demonstrated the above qualities towards MedsHouse are welcome to be considered.

Welcome back to Dr. Sophia Chong (Meds '92) who has visited the house twice already this year! We loved hearing the stories and advice from one of the first females to graduate from Meds House. Thank you for your generous donation and we wish your son good luck as he embarks on his studies in Queen's Nursing!

Another summer project complete!

Although we loved the old 3rd floor bathroom countertop constrcuted by our very own past President Justin Dirk, we thought it was time for an upgrade.

Check out our summer flooring project!

We are so pleased with the new floors we had installed in 8 of our bedrooms. Although we loved the original hardwood, the risk of stepping on nails or falling through the floor was becoming a very real threat. Similar to the red room, we went with a durable and waterproof type of vinyl plank. Here are some of the before and after pics!

The summer maintenance work continues!

We are SO happy to see our home getting put back together after a nasty storm last winter caused our backyard tree to topple (and take part of the basement foundation with it).

Basement-dwellers can once again rest assured that their space is structurally sound, and all members will be able to enjoy a spacious new porch!

Progress!
We're absolutely floored by how great the Red Room looks at only 50% completion! The previous one was built in the 80s and as much as we loved almost falling through at each party, it was time for a change. The new floor is "water"proof and each panel can be individually replaced in case of damage.
