The "Spiritual Side" to "Living with the Scar"
Jesus' post-resurrection scars are the ultimate sign of love.
A reminder of the pain from the wound, but far more than that.
His scars remind us of the love that was poured out. A Saviour who suffered in our place — who bore the pain, the shame, and the punishment, so that we could live.
When I think about the scars of Jesus, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. They are not just reminders of pain — they are the reason for hope.
Hope in the promises of God. Hope in the life to come!
