Our Organization
Blanche River Health is a fully accredited hospital organization committed to providing quality patient-centered health care services in Northern and Central Timiskaming. It continues to lead in Health Care Services by collaborating with Community Health Partners creating safe and healthy communities and ensuring seamless transitions to other Health Services. Blanche River Health has two hospital sites in Englehart and Kirkland Lake, Ontario:

Blanche River Health is committed to a culture and environment of teaching/learning for students. Our Kirkland Lake Site is affiliated with many Ontario Colleges and Universities including the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), Nipissing University, College Boreal (DI) and Northern College while our Englehart Site is affiliated with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM). Several student placements take place in the hospitals annually. Mission

The Blanche River Health Foundation ( ) raises funds for equipment and capital projects at Blanche River Health #(BRH) for the Englehart and Kirkland Lake sites. With limited government funding for these needs, the hospital relies on donations to modernize facilities and equipment. As a registered charity governed by a volunteer board of directors, the Foundation depends on people's generosity to support essential improvements, enhance patient care and support the hospital’s mission to make healthcare work for you. BRH acknowledges Medical Device Reprocessing Week and our Technicians for the work they do in support of patient care. With the focus on reducing the spread of diseases, the proper and safe reprocessing of reusable patient care items, medical and surgical instruments their role is more important than ever before. The department services the Operating Room, Emergency Departments, Specialist Clinics and Inpatient Units at both Sites.
