Prostate-Supporting Tomato & Lentil Soup

Rich in lycopene, fiber, and plant-based protein to support prostate and hormone health.

This soup is easy to make, comforting, and filled with ingredients shown to protect the prostate, reduce inflammation, and support overall vitality—especially for men over 40.

🥣 Ingredients (Serves 4):
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (no salt added)
4 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
¾ cup dry red lentils, rinsed
1 cup chopped spinach or kale
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

🔥 Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in garlic, turmeric, and cumin. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add diced tomatoes, broth, and lentils. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–25 minutes, until lentils are tender.
4. Stir in spinach or kale and cook for 2–3 minutes more. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Serve warm—and feel good knowing your body (and your prostate) is getting exactly what it needs. 🙌

Who said salads can't be hearty?

Try our Grilled Pork and Pear Salad for a delicious twist on your greens! 🍐🥗 Tender pork loin meets sweet, grilled pears, all drizzled with a balsamic-maple dressing that's simply to die for. Perfect for those who love a little sweet with their savory. Ready to grill and thrill? 🔥

Grilled Pork and Pear Salad

Ingredients:
4 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tbsp maple syrup
1lb pork tenderloin
¼ tsp black pepper
2 large ripe pears, halved and seeds removed
6 cups mixed salad greens
¼ cup sliced red onion
Cooking spray

Instructions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a small bowl combine oil, vinegar, garlic and ½ the amount of maple syrup. With the leftover maple syrup use that to brush evenly on pork tenderloin. Sprinkle pork with pepper.
3. Place on grill for 15 to 20 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it stand for about 15 minutes before slicing.
4. In the meantime, coat pear halves with cooking spray and brush with a little maple syrup if desired.
5. Place cut side down on the grill and grill for 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from grill and slice into wedges.
6. To serve, arrange 1½ cups of salad greens on a plate. Top with ¼ of grilled pork and pears. Drizzle the remaining oil, vinegar, garlic, and maple syrup mixture. Garnish with red onion slices.

Makes 2 servings.

Chickpea of the Sea

Ingredients
(15 ounces) can of low-sodium chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ cup hummus or plain plant-based yogurt
¼ tsp old bay seasoning
1 large carrot, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
¼ cup red onion, diced
¼ cup diced celery
¼ cup toasted sunflower seeds
Salt and pepper to taste

For serving, per person
• 2 romaine lettuce leaves or 2 slices
whole-grain bread, lightly toasted
• Sliced red onion, tomato, avocado
and/or lettuce

Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, mash drained and rinsed chickpeas with a fork.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
2. Prepare desired toppings, such as sliced red onion, tomato, or avocado.
3. If serving as a sandwich, toast bread and serve between slices with toppings.
4. If serving with romaine lettuce leaves, top leaves with chickpea mixture and toppings.
5. To round out the meal, pair with baby carrots or a piece of fruit.
