Student Spotlight goes to... HENRY!

Henry is a young composer with a thorough understanding of how to write cute little musical questions and answers! By adding some staccatos and rests, Henry made "The P**f Song" come to life!

Henry created this little tune as part of our studio composition project! If you are a student who wants to write a song for our year end composition book, chat with your teacher soon to start working on your submission! We can't wait to hear it!

This past fall, I (Courtney) posted a little medley of what I predicted would be the most common songs played in our studio! Well... I missed the mark a bit! Thankfully, I have my young students to remind me what's cool these days!

So far this school year we have heard many beautiful, creative renditions of "Fate of Ophelia" by Taylor Swift and "Golden" by K-Pop Demon Hunters! I would also argue "Soda Pop" by K-Pop Demon Hunters is a close runner-up!

Here is teacher Courtney playing Fate of Ophelia x Golden! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy hearing my students cover these songs! :)

Exciting news! NEW RELEASE!

For those of you that loved Mahoro’s Music, I now introduce to you… SHEMA’S SONG!

This little rhyme-along book was inspired by helping my students write their first compositions! By following three main steps—key, time, and tempo—their beautiful ideas came to life!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the book stresses the importance of writing from the HEART! 💕🎶

Student Spotlight goes to siblings COHEN & QUINN!

Can you believe they wrote this cute little duet?! With its silly staccato character, the duo named it “Stinky Toes” to give the audience an extra giggle! In all seriousness though, these two worked hard to make sure they stayed in time, balanced dynamics, and listened to one another!

Are you a student interested in being a part of our 2026 Composition book? Talk to your studio teacher today to get started! We love hearing your creativity come to life!!

WOW! We are just so proud of all our students who shared their musical gifts at Luther Manor and Village at University Gates these past two evenings! We loved meeting all the residents and hearing their stories of how music has brought them joy throughout their lives! We are so happy to be even just a small part of that story ❤️❤️❤️

Congrats students! Have a wonderful holiday season and don’t stop sharing that music! 🎶

Let’s welcome Winnie!!!

Winnie is the newest addition to our team, bringing an excitement towards elementary music education! Winnie is ready to begin taking new students come the New Year! Please see her bio below:

“Hi, my name is Winnie! I’m currently a student at Wilfrid Laurier University, studying International Education with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.

I’ve been playing piano since I was five years old. I took piano lessons for over 10 years, and completed my level 10 RCM. I have experience teaching piano to young beginners, and I love helping children discover their own creativity and confidence.

I believe that learning the piano should always be fun and enjoyable. I would love to help kids fall in love with music the same way I did learning to play the piano!”
