Spring is finally here, and the one daunting yet essential task comes up— spring cleaning. It helps do a deep clean and declutter your home. It is a big task, but it will improve your life in many ways. You might have heard the saying, "clear space, clear mind," and it could not be more accurate. When your surroundings are tidy, you can focus on the things that matter.
A clean space can reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, whereas clutter does the opposite. It can even improve your mood. However, your spring cleaning shouldn't stop at your home, use same approach to your workspace, computer, and anywhere you spend a significant amount of your time. Having a clean desk increases productivity, making you feel more accomplished and less stressed. If your computer is cluttered and documents are all over the place, organize it. Make folders, delete junk, and you will notice how much more efficient and productive it is. Don't forget about your own personal declutter! Get rid of junk food and fuel your body with healthy, whole foods. Start new healthy habits to focus on.
So, how can you get started?
Here are some spring cleaning tips
- Take it one step at a time
It's easy to overwhelm yourself when you focus on cleaning all your home. Instead, commit to one area first and then move on.

- Put on music
Chores are more enjoyable with a good song. Put on a station, that audiobook you've wanted to listen to.

- Remove everything from each space
You can't get a good clean if everything is in the way. Move it and wipe it down, vacuum, and all those other things. Only put back the items you intend to keep.

- Donate
Clothing that you haven't worn in a decade, give it a new home. Anything you're not using that doesn't have sentimental value needs to be taken to charity. Throw out what isn't functional.

Keep up the areas you've cleaned. When you keep everything in order, it will take less time to clean. Then you're only stuck for minimal tasks of vacuuming, mopping, and wiping things down.

When your home is clean, and everything is in order, you'll be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Everything is easier to find, and you'll feel more at home in your home space
