Dealing with stubborn pain that just won’t go away? Acupuncture can help support healing, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility naturally.

✔️ Knee Pain
Acupuncture may help decrease pain and stiffness, improve circulation to the joint, and support recovery from overuse, arthritis, or injury.

✔️ Tennis Elbow
Repetitive strain can lead to ongoing elbow pain and weakness. Acupuncture can help calm inflammation, reduce tension in surrounding muscles, and promote healing of irritated tissues.

✔️ Tendonitis
Whether it’s your shoulder, Achilles, wrist, or elsewhere, acupuncture may help improve blood flow and stimulate the body’s natural healing response to support tendon recovery.

Many patients notice:
✨ Reduced pain
✨ Improved movement
✨ Less tension & inflammation
✨ Faster recovery alongside rehab exercises

You don’t have to just “push through” pain. Acupuncture can be an effective part of a comprehensive treatment plan to help you get back to feeling your best.

Period pain may be common… but it’s NOT normal.
You shouldn’t have to plan your life around your cycle, miss school or work, cancel plans, or suffer through days of debilitating cramps every month.

Painful periods are often a sign that something deeper is going on in the body — and they deserve proper attention and support.

Some common root causes of period pain can include:
• Hormonal imbalances like low progesterone or estrogen dominance
• Inflammation
• Insulin resistance or blood sugar imbalances
• Endometriosis or adenomyosis
• Nutrient deficiencies
• High stress and cortisol dysregulation
• Gut health concerns

Low progesterone, in particular, can contribute to painful, heavy, or irregular periods because progesterone helps calm inflammation and balance the effects of estrogen. When progesterone is too low, cramps and other PMS symptoms can become much more intense.

A naturopathic doctor can help identify the root cause of your symptoms and create a personalized treatment plan that may include:
✨ Nutrition support to reduce inflammation and balance blood sugar
✨ Targeted supplements and herbal medicine
✨ Hormone testing and cycle tracking
✨ Stress and nervous system support
✨ Lifestyle strategies to support healthy ovulation and hormone balance

You deserve to feel good in your body all month long — not just when your period ends.

Vaginal dryness is common, especially in women in perimenopause and menopause. It can cause itching, burning and painful in*******se, but it's not something you just have to live with.

Feel Amazing Gel is a Health Canada-approved, hormone-free intimate moisturizer designed to help restore comfort, hydration, and vaginal health at any age.

Formulated with:
✨ Hyaluronic Acid to deeply hydrate and retain moisture
✨ Vitamin E to help repair and soothe delicate mucosal tissue

Unlike many products, Feel Amazing Gel uses an adhesive base that allows longer contact with vaginal tissue for enhanced hydration and less leakage.

Dryness can happen due to:
▪️ Perimenopause & menopause
▪️ Low estrogen levels
▪️ Certain medications
▪️ Postpartum changes & more

Without proper care, vaginal dryness can contribute to irritation, discomfort, painful intimacy, inflammation, and even infections.

Feel Amazing Gel can be used on its own or alongside hormone therapies to support lasting moisture, comfort, and vulvovaginal health.

PMS, irregular cycles?
MediHerb Chaste Tree is one of our favourite herbal supports for women’s hormone health through many stages of life.

Chaste tree works by gently supporting communication between the brain and ovaries, helping to regulate progesterone and support overall hormone balance. Rather than acting like a hormone itself, it helps encourage the body’s natural hormone rhythms.

For younger women, chaste tree may help support:
✨ PMS symptoms
✨ Irregular cycles
✨ Breast tenderness
✨ Mood changes related to the menstrual cycle

During perimenopause & menopause, it may help support:
✨ Hormonal balance
✨ Mood & irritability
✨ Cycle irregularity
✨ Breast discomfort
✨ Overall transition support

Every woman’s hormone story is unique, and the right support can make a big difference. Our naturopathic doctors can help determine if chaste tree is right for you, and create a personalized plan for your hormones and overall health.

Get your glow on!✨
Check out our microneedling transformation! ✨
See the difference after 3–6 sessions — healthier, smoother, more radiant skin.

Winter weather can leave your skin looking dull, tired, and uneven. If your glow feels like it’s gone into hibernation, microneedling may be exactly what your skin needs.

Microneedling works by creating tiny micro-channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production, supporting your skin’s natural repair and renewal process for a brighter, firmer complexion.

Benefits of microneedling include:
• Smoother skin texture
• Improved tone and radiance
• Reduced appearance of fine lines & wrinkles
• Softening acne scars and enlarged pores
• Fading pigmentation, sun damage & melasma
• Boosted firmness and overall skin confidence

It’s a powerful option for dull winter skin, uneven texture, scarring, breakouts, or early signs of aging — and is safe for most skin types when performed by trained professionals.

Maintaining muscle mass during midlife and menopause is one of the most effective ways to support your metabolism and long-term health.💪

As estrogen levels decline, it’s natural for women to experience a gradual loss of muscle tissue.

This shift has a direct impact on insulin sensitivity. With less muscle available to absorb and store glucose, blood sugar levels can rise more easily, increasing the demand on insulin and contributing to insulin resistance over time.

These changes don’t just affect blood sugar — they can also influence energy, mood, sleep quality, brain function, and overall metabolic health, including the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Thankfully, this process is highly responsive to lifestyle support. Regular strength training, adequate protein and balanced nutrition, and personalized hormone support can all help preserve lean muscle and keep metabolism functioning more efficiently through midlife and beyond.

At Sage Naturopathic Clinic, we focus on a comprehensive approach to help you protect muscle mass, support hormone balance, and maintain stable blood sugar throughout perimenopause and menopause.

Big news for women’s health! 📢
PCOS has recently been renamed PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

Here’s why this matters for women’s health.
PCOS is, and always has been a multifactorial endocrine syndrome, so the name PCOS didn’t adequately portray the metabolic nature of the illness, thus, many women were not getting the comprehensive care they needed.

PCOS is a complex condition involving much more than ovarian cysts. It can include:

☑️ Hormonal imbalance (androgens/testosterone elevation)
☑️ Irregular or absent ovulation
☑️ Insulin resistance and metabolic dysfunction
☑️ Increased risk of weight gain, prediabetes, and cardiovascular issues
☑️ Fertility challenges for some, but not all, patients

The challenge is that insulin resistance can be present long before it shows up on standard labs, and it’s not always routinely screened for in conventional care.

The name has changed, but the treatment approach hasn’t: naturopathic doctors have been treating PCOS as PMOS for years.

When we look beyond cycles and cysts and also assess metabolic health, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle factors, we can better understand what’s actually driving symptoms—not just manage them on the surface.

A naturopathic approach can help fill that gap by focusing on earlier detection, personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies, and evidence-based supports that improve insulin sensitivity and long-term health outcomes.

Feel Better - We Can Help! 💚

If you’ve been diagnosed with PMOS, we are here to help.
