🩷Pink Shirt Day 2026🩷

On Wednesday February 25th, we're encouraging everyone to wear pink to stand together against bullying and lift up kindness, empathy, and inclusion.

A simple shirt can spark a powerful message:
🫶 Everyone deserves to feel safe.
💬 Words matter.
🌟 Kindness is contagious, so pass it on.

Whether at school, at work, or online, let’s choose to support one another and speak up when it matters most.

Our Opportunity Centre Manager (Karen) and Service Coordinator (Brittany) attended the Waterloo Wellington Adult Day Services summit last week. The day included an educational horticulture session, a collaborative discussion on what’s working well (and what isn’t) across various day programs, and a thoughtful closing conversation on compassion fatigue.

During that final session, they explored how to recognize the signs of compassion fatigue and drummed up some practical, meaningful strategies for prevention and management.

This was such a valuable and insightful day for our team! 🌿

🎉Big News for Cambridge North Dumfries!

Congratulations to the CND Ontario Health Team for becoming the first OHT in Ontario to clear their Health Care Connect waitlist as of January 1st, 2025! ( #1 of out of 58 teams in Ontario.)

The Ontario Minister of Health applauds their leadership, collaboration, and innovation in expanding access to primary care. Thanks to their work, more residents are now connected to the care they need - quickly and close to home.

👏 A huge shout‑out to the family doctors, nurse practitioners, and primary care teams who made this possible.

Here’s to building a stronger, more connected healthcare system for everyone!

As thousands of people across Ontario search for primary care providers, one community is making it easier. In Cambridge North Dumfries, Health Care Connect is helping match patients with available doctors and nurse practitioners.

We’ve got some amazing team spirit happening!

A few of our staff members have joined The Push-Up Challenge and we’re already feeling the energy.

Some of our HO team members even kicked things off with a fun round of group wall push-ups - lots of laughs, lots of determination, and definitely a few sore arms today! 😄

It's so nice seeing everyone get involved and supporting each other. Keep it up, team! 👏
