Hey friends! ♡ With or without me, remember water safety ♡

The water is not something to take for granted, and if you don’t know how to properly respond to what the water throws your way, you could find yourself in deep trouble.

My goal is to make sure everyone experiences the water the only way it should be experienced—with safety and security in mind.

It's essential to prioritize safety on the water. Always remember:

- Wear a properly fitting life jacket or PFD (Personal Flotation Device) With a whistle attached.

- Wear tight fitting swim clothing and bring a hat or sunscreen to protect yourself from the elements.

- Bring a fully charged phone in a waterproof/floating case to make emergency calls or use the flashlight.

- When using inflatable devices, make sure they are properly inflated to recommend psi. Keep sharp objects or clothing away from inflatables and do not smoke on or around them.

- Check the weather and water conditions before heading out. High wind or water levels are unsafe. Check for storm or heat warnings as well. If you are unsure- stay home!

- Stay alert and aware of your surroundings, including other watercraft, swimmers, and obstacles. Keep a safe distance from others and avoid collisions.

- Use a leash to keep your board attached to your ankle.

- Take regular breaks to rest and rehydrate. Bring water and a snack.

- Do not consume drugs or alcohol before or during any water activities. Impairment can cause fatal outcomes.

- Know your limits and don't venture into areas beyond your skill level.

- Always paddle with a buddy, if possible. Plan your route and tell someone where you'll be.

- Take a lesson or rent from a reputable outfitter to learn proper techniques and safety guidelines.

Remember, safety is everyone's responsibility on the water. Be mindful, have fun, and enjoy your paddleboarding adventure!

Right now I'm focusing on Yoga. A spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body.

What an incredible thing, to be able to focus on and learn about or even become one's higher self through a practice. You are the student and the teacher. You are the subject, the goal and the reward.
