🦠 Another one of our speakers for the IPAC CSO Education day is Shamleed Badhiruddin!

👩‍🏫Presentation Title: Infection Control Interventions in Managing a Klebsiella pneumoniae Carbapenemase-Producing Enterobacterales Outbreak in an Intensive Care Unit

🏨Bio: Shamleed works as an Infection Control Practitioner at Trillium Health Partners. A graduate of the University of Toronto and the Medical Laboratory Science program at The Michener Institute, Shamleed spent over 12 years as a Medical Laboratory Technologist prior to entering the field of infection control in 2022. An active member of IPAC Canada since 2023, Shamleed currently holds an executive position with IPAC GTA as their Networking Co-Chair. Areas of interest for Shamleed include dialysis and pediatrics

DEADLINE APPROACHING:

Applications are being accepted for the 2025 IPAC Canada Essentials in Infection Prevention and Control Course!

Preference for admission into the Regular Program will be given to novice IPAC practitioners with less than 2 years' experience. Applications will also be considered from others working in healthcare and/or exploring opportunities in IPAC.

Applications for the Regular Course are due by July 18, 2025. Students will be notified of their acceptance by August 1, 2025. Tuition fees for accepted students will be due by August 15, 2025. Course starts September 8, 2025.
