Creating Wellness 101

Creating Wellness 101 19feb25. Wishing U All, a Happy, Healthy & Safe Year. High 5's Update:Starting August 2021 - Back to help people needing foot reflexology services. Peace Out.

My goals: study the Hand Reflexology course; clear up the garden, house renos, and do some hiking, biking, canoeing/kayaking & camping, and have fun with my Better-half & cats. Sept.2016 I will be operating from my home clinic, in Kitchener. Prices and additional information can be found at creatingwellness101@weebly.com or send me a message here. UPDATE: Summer 2014, I have graduated from the Ontario College of Reflexology in Foot Reflexology with a 95% average. I am in the process of setting up my Mobile Foot Reflexology Business. A big thank-you to all of my volunteers who helped me in this new start. History:
At the age of 40 I decided that I wanted to go back to school, within the healing/health field. I decided that Foot Reflexology would be a good start to get back into the school learning curve. So many of us are constantly on the go, and not always wearing the best or most comfortable shoes. With the daily wear on our feet, it is good for them to get a little relaxation time when physical stress is eased away. Foot Reflexology is also beneficial to circulation, metabolism, pre & post surgery stress'; as well as complementing other healing therapies.

Working together helps solve issues. High 5's

Joanne and Paul McDonnell have known each other since they were kids — specifically, third grade for Joanne and fifth for Paul.

So, two years ago, when doctors told Joanne there wasn't anything else they could do for Paul's diffuse large B-cell lymphoma — an aggressive form of blood cancer — Joanne refused to believe their longtime romance was over.

"I know death comes for everyone, but I also knew it wasn't his time," she says.

is advising motorists in and around to stay off the roads today.

The roads in these areas are snow covered, and there is very poor to zero visibility due to the high winds and blowing snow. Please avoid any non-essential travel today. If you will be on the roads, turn on your headlights, avoid stopping in the middle of the roadway, and drive carefully. ^bp

Kitchener Utilities shares important winter safety tips for your natural gas meter and vents.

With the weather dipping below freezing, we'd like to share some cold weather safety tips for you and your pet!

❄️ If it's too cold for you, it's likely too cold for your pet. Keep cats indoors and have shorter outdoor bathroom breaks and walks for dogs. Put a snazzy coat on your dog to keep them warm when outside.

❄️ Put booties on your dog's feet to keep their paws warm and to protect them from ice-melting salt. You can use a pet-safe balm to heal cracked paws if they do come in contact with salt.

❄️ Be aware of antifreeze and certain ice melts as they are toxic to pets. Be sure to thoroughly clean up any antifreeze spills.

❄️ Keep your dog on leash. Dogs can lose their scent in the snow and could become lost. More dogs are lost during the winter than any other season, so make sure your dog always wears an ID tag or has a microchip.

Keep your pets safe, warm, and happy this winter!

29Jul20, Seems like the summer is moving by so fast. Hope you have all had a super summer so far, and more til the snows start. Optometrist visit showed yet again that there is luck to be had, same 2014 lens prescription is still good to go. Slowly catching up on all my missed work and re-training for more learning. Thank-you to all who come to see me and/or get a treatment. Cheers

17Jun20, Seemingly wonderful days here, I can’t complain and hope it is all going well for all of you. If you can think of why I got to be in the less then 10 people(per year) who get to come back from the brain cancer (and almost dying atleast 3 later times), like almost normal; please let me know. I wish this happened for all. So I am trying to help those that ask, and when I figure it out try to help others. Halleeho and onward to happiness in family, home, friends, work and all other(thing)s I can’t remember just now. Plus Happy Father’s Day

14May20, Full tests & scans yesterday, hopefully great results. Plus I hope that for all of you in and around this new virus, we get to learn about and deal with it in a tolerable way. Mother’s Day flowers are still in the garden. Cheers
