The Do More Agriculture Foundation in collaboration with facilitator Bonnie Taylor, MSW, RSW, offers AgCulture training sessions. These free 4 hour virtual workshops are designed for mental health professionals who are interested in deepening their understanding of agriculture in Canada and gaining practical insights rooted in lived experience and professional expertise.

Tools to build trust and connection with clients in agriculture communities

I am so pleased to share the incredible Pixie books within my Psychotherapy sessions.
Erica Richmond, Author, is an amazing author who brings forward a new perspective on situations that we often experience in silence and are left feeling unheard and isolated. The Pixie books help to create a new perspective on anxiety and reclaiming the strength that is held within, but often not uncovered.

I have shared these stories with my adult clients struggling with grief, self awareness, self advocacy to create a sense of hope in their lives. I highly recommend you check them out!!!

🌾 The celebration for Ontario Agriculture Week kicks off today! 🚜

This week is about recognizing the passion and commitment farmers put into raising livestock 🐄, tending orchards 🍎, planting fields 🌱, and harvesting crops 🌽.

It’s about tipping our cap to the truck drivers 🚛, millers, processors ⚙️, retailers, and chefs 👩‍🍳 who all play a role in moving food from farm to table 🍽️.

And it’s about showcasing the abundance of food, fibre, fuel and flowers produced right here at home 🇨🇦 .

What a great day at Canada's Outdoor Farm Show on September 9!

I was so pleased to be able to represent The Do More Agriculture Foundation and connect with many vendors to share the work that Do More Agriculture is doing across Canada- championing the mental well-being of those in Canadian Agriculture.

Thanks for the opportunity to view the Deep Rooted documentary screening. I was glad to be there to offer any additional supports as needed. It was also great to meet Lucia in person from Do More Ag!

Thank you to Poppy's Haven, Bonnie Taylor Counselling and Unhaltered Hope Equine Assisted Learning for hosting an amazing session this past Saturday with the women and children from our Second Stage Program!

It was such a fun day with lots of equine connection and joy. We appreciate all of these kind-hearted volunteers! 🐴💕
