Welcome to the Family Foot and Orthotics Clinic, the office of Bojan Petrusic BSc. D.Pod.Med., a member of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario and Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine. We provide state-of-the-art care for foot, leg and ankle problems that you or your loved ones, including children, might experience.

Family Foot and Orthotics Clinic offers effective treatments for all foot-related issues, including heel/arch pain, non-surgical and surgical treatments of ingrown nails, sport injuries, various skin disorders, flat/high arched feet, diabetic and senior foot care, removal of warts, corns and calluses.

Foot Treatment Highlights

We believe in utilizing the latest technologies in treating your foot problems, and one of those wonderful tools is a Therapeutic Laser, which uses light energy for tissue healing and pain reduction. It’s a safe and highly effective treatment method that offers a fast, non-invasive and drug-free healing solution. Our clinic also provides top-of-the-line custom- made foot orthotics, knee braces and compression stockings.

Custom-made Foot Orthotics are used to prevent and treat many foot- and leg-related conditions. They make standing, walking and running more efficient, by reducing fatigue and injuries. In order to get genuine custom foot orthotics, our chiropodist (foot specialist) conducts a detailed Biomechanical Examination, followed by taking a foot impression using a 3-D laser scanner. A detailed prescription form is then filled out and your casts and prescription are sent to a professional laboratory where your orthotics are made by qualified technicians. Fitting is done in our office about two weeks after you initial appointment.

Custom Made Knee Braces help support the knee from instability due to a ligament injury (ACL/PCL/MCL) and help reduce pain caused by Osteoarthritis. These braces are lightweight, comfortable, and encourage patients to return to regular activity. The clinic offers a wide range of custom-made and off-the-shelf knee braces. To get a proper brace, your foot specialist will take all the necessary measurements in order to ensure that you get a brace that will help with your medical issue.

Compression Stockings are used to improve blood flow and prevent blood from pooling in your legs. By improving blood circulation in your legs, compression stockings can prevent blood clots (deep vein thrombosis) and relieve symptoms of chronic vein disease and varicose veins, such as swelling, aching and pain. Our clinic carries Bauerfeind Stockings, which are manufactured using premium materials designed to offer long-term medical effectiveness, excellent wearing comfort and great looks.
