We are excited to welcome Faith to our team this year. Faith will be completing her internship with Expressions Music Therapy over the next several months.
Hi! My name is Faith VanderWerf, and I’m a Music Therapy Intern currently completing my Bachelor of Music Therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University. Music has always been one of my favourite ways to connect, communicate, and express emotions, which is what led me to music therapy. My primary instrument is voice, and I also enjoy accompanying on guitar and ukulele. Through my training, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, adults, and seniors in both individual and group settings, and I love using music to build connection, support strengths, and create meaningful moments. I’m so excited to be joining the team and can’t wait to learn from such a caring group of therapists while sharing the joy, creativity, and comfort that music can bring!
