April 14 marks the start of a new year in several South Asian communities, each with its own rich traditions. 🎉

â—ľ Vaisakhi celebrates the founding of the Khalsa in Sikhism and the harvest season. It is a time of prayer, celebration, and community gatherings.

â—ľ Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year) is a time for new beginnings, colorful festivals, and cultural performances.

â—ľ Puthandu / Vishu (Tamil/Malayalam New Year) is observed with family gatherings, feasts, and traditional rituals that symbolize renewal and prosperity.

Happy Vaisakhi, Shubho Pohela Boishakh, Happy Puthandu and Happy Vishu from the EAFWR team to all who are celebrating in our community!
