Anne Elizabeth HOPEWELL Obituary
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Hospice Waterloo Region.
Survived by her loving daughters, Jennifer (Matthew) Payne, and Alison (John) Bodendorfer and her sister Joan Ingham and sister-in-law Nina Hopewell. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Quinn and Olivia Payne and Riley Bodendorfer. Anne will also be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her dear husband of 58 years, Ronald Hopewell (2022), and her parents, Kenneth and Marjorie Mountford, and stepfather Richard Evans.
Special thanks to everyone at Hospice Waterloo Region for their wonderful and thoughtful care of our Mother in her final days.
Visitation will take place at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial service to take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 23 Water St N, Kitchener on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Private family interment to take place as the ceremony ends.
