WOW, the generosity in our community is astounding! Thanks to your support we have officially crossed everything off our Amazon wish list. A huge thank you to all who purchased gifts this year, you really are angels 🎁😇

To continue spreading the holiday magic as far as we can, we will be accepting monetary donations until Wednesday, December 17th. These contributions allow us to provide gifts for parents or the whole family to enjoy - something that is only possible because of your incredible contributions. 🩷 As always, a charitable tax receipt will be issued at your request.

After December 17th, any outstanding funds will be put back into our community through our other support programs, allowing us to continue to provide and sustain our services. All of us at Tamitik Status of Women are beyond grateful for your continued support, thanks to you we are making a difference for over 60 families this holiday season 🎄🎅✨

✨ Light up Kitimat 2025 ✨

Thank you Kitimat Chamber of Commerce and District of Kitimat for putting on a wonderful event this weekend! We had so much fun hanging out and celebrating our beautiful community. We are honoured and SO proud of our team for winning best indoor booth! ❄️🫶

Starting next week (November 10th), Mondays are going to be FUN DAYS!

Grab your friends (or just yourself!) and come on down to the Kitimat Public Library for games, cards, puzzles, and some good ol' community connection. Games are available, or you can bring your own favorites to share. Open to anyone 19 and up, snacks and drinks will be provided. See you there!

Thanks to this community's generosity we have a number of items available for those who may be in need....

We have survival bags thanks to LNG Canada - cooler bags filled with necessities you may need to get through this wintery season. We also have a large supply of work and rain gear in sizes Small - 5XL. Jackets, pants and boots available.

If this is something you need, stop by our Main Office - we are open 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday!

It really is the season of giving! Thank you Shoppers Drug Mart for your incredible support and generosity. Your fundraising efforts through the Shoppers Drug Mart Giving Shelter campaign raised $4560 in donations from our local community. Every dollar raised will support more women and their families this season.
