It may be April 1st, but this ain't no joke - ḡuláli Childcare centre is open! 🎉🎉

Opening day went off without a hitch, and now we can't wait to see the building filled with all that childhood joy and chaos. Bring on the mess! 🎨🧸🪇 Give a round of applause and huge shout out to our team for getting us here - and to all those on the waitlist who've waited so patiently for this day to come! 👏 We are SO excited to finally start this journey together.

One more week to submit your entries to name our newest housing project!

It's been a long time coming... We're finally moving into our new building!

This mixed-use housing project offers the transitional and long term housing for women and their dependent children. Our daycare has been named ḡul’áli Childcare Centre, and now we need your help to name the residential building. We are looking for a meaningful two-three word name that reflects safety, strength, healing, or new beginnings.

International Women's Day - a day for all those who care about gender equality. A day for us to celebrate women's achievement, raise awareness about discrimination, and take action to forge gender parity.

This year’s theme, Give to Gain, encourages a message of generosity and unity. Reminding us that when we give our time and effort towards a more inclusive world, we gain stronger connections, and drive lasting change.

International Women's Day belongs to all of us, everywhere. As Gloria Steinmen once said "the story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights."

Today, on International Women's Day, we encourage you to think about what you can give, so that we all may gain a more equitable and inclusive world.
