He started out as a stock/delivery boy at his fathers pharmacy, and has worked his way up since then with many years of experience in the industry. Don’t forget about our little friends this spring! Rainforest Wellness has a large variety of beautiful hummingbird feeders. Read below for some tips and a great recipe to help you attract these beautiful garden friends!
-Clean your feeder frequently to avoid mold which can harm hummingbirds.
-Best way to clean your feeder is to soak all parts in hot water with a small amount of vinegar, scrub with a bottle brush and rinse thoroughly before every refill.
-Only use pure white cane sugar and water no need to add any colour as this can be harmful.
-Use an ant moat to keep pests out of your feeder (available at Rainforest Wellness)
-Try to keep your feeder in a slightly shaded spot away from heavy trafficked areas so they can have a rest.
-The best recommended recipe is…
One part cane sugar to 4 parts boiling water, stir, let cool and enjoy the company of the beautiful little friends that will come back to see you year after year.
