Good afternoon Kugluktukmiut,

We had a great outcome yesterday at the Co-op, with many people getting vaccinated. Quana to everyone who came out and did their part to help keep our community safe.

For those who are still considering getting their Flu and COVID-19 vaccines, we encourage you to see us today. We will be at the Northern Store from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Good day, Kugluktukmiut,

We will be holding Flu and COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated to help protect their loved ones and our community.
We have seen an increase in both flu and COVID-19 cases in town. Getting the vaccine helps prevent severe illness and helps protect our Elders, babies, pregnant women, and community members with chronic health conditions.

Vaccine Clinic Schedule:
Thursday, November 20, 2025
Location: Co-op Store
Time: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Friday, November 21, 2025
Location: Northern Store
Time: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Please be informed that the Health Centre will be closed on August 21, 2025, from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM in observance of Cultural Immersion Day. This special day is dedicated to appreciating our staff and fostering team building.

While the Health Centre is closed, a Nurse on Call will still be available for emergency services. If you require urgent medical assistance, please get in touch with us at 867-982-4531.

We regret to inform you that the Kugluktuk Health Centre will continue operating only in emergencies due to unfornsceen circumstances of staff shortage. On June 19, 2025, the health Centre will reopen to regular operations are expected to resume

Key Points:

Closure Date: May 29, 2025
Emergency Services Only: During this period, the health centre will remain open exclusively for emergencies.
Cancelled Appointments: All other pre-booked appointments will be cancelled and rescheduled.

Telehealth clinic: These services will continue to be available. Support staff will contact you the day before your appointment to confirm details.

Complete Services Resumption: Regular operations will resume on June 19, 2025

If there are any changes, we will update the community as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to resolve the staffing shortage and restore complete services.
