Saturday afternoon, the residents from Le Chalet and friends once again celebrated La St. Jean Baptiste with some excellent music by Small Town Limits along with refreshments and desserts. Over 100 people came out and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon.

Samedi après midi, les résidents du Chalet et amis ont une fois de plus célébré La St. Jean Baptiste avec une excellente musique de Small Town Limits ainsi que des rafraîchissements et des desserts. Plus de 100 personnes sont venues et ont profité d'un bel après-midi.

On Monday we kicked off summer with our second annual BBQ but due to the weather everything was moved inside. We savoured a delicious meal provided by Big Smoak and a special thanks to Birchwood Funeral Home for being a sponsor. A big thank you to Stephanie and her kitchen staff for their hard work setting everything up. Special thanks also to Ken and Ruth (volunteer) for their help.

Lundi, nous avons lancé l'été avec notre deuxième barbecue annuel, mais en raison de la météo, tout a été déplacé à l'intérieur. Nous avons savouré un délicieux repas fourni par Big Smoak et un merci spécial à Birchwood Funeral Home pour avoir été un commanditaire. Un grand merci à Stéphanie et son personnel de cuisine pour leur travail d’avoir tout mise en place. Un merci spécial également à Ken et Ruth (volontaire) pour leur aide.

Le Chalet along with their residents celebrated Easter yesterday with an incredible dinner created by our kitchen manager Stephanie and her wonderful staff. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out.

Certified trainer, Patricia McPherson has been offering exercises for seniors every Tuesday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 to our residents at Le Chalet and we’d like to extend the invitation to anyone over 55 in La Broquerie at $10 a session.
