Rest and repair are not the same thing. Your body knows the difference even when you do not.
Most of us have been taught that if we are exhausted, the answer is more rest. Take the time off. Sleep more. Step away. And when that does not work, we assume something is wrong with us.
Nothing is wrong with you. The tool is just not reaching the problem. Passive rest, sleep, weekends, vacations, pauses your nervous system. Structured deep rest teaches it to downshift. Those are two entirely different physiological events.
