🦷 Tooth Decay Stages

Tooth decay doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t always hurt right away.

• Early decay: Often no pain
• Progressing decay: Sensitivity to cold or sweets
• Advanced decay: Pain, infection, or abscess
• Untreated decay: May require a root canal or extraction

Pain usually appears later, when damage is already deeper.
That’s why regular checkups are so important. They help catch problems early, before they become painful or more complex.

Today’s dental offices are designed with patient safety and comfort in mind. Strict sterilization protocols, protective equipment, digital X-rays with minimal radiation, effective anesthesia, and advanced suction systems all help create a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable experience for our patients.

A dental visit in the 1920s looked very different than it does today. Back then, sterilization standards were limited, gloves and masks weren’t routinely used, X-rays were rare, and spittoons were a normal part of every dental chair. Anesthesia options were minimal, which often made dental treatment uncomfortable and stressful.

We’ll take modern dentistry every time. ✨

Our clinic will be closing early today at 2:00 PM so our team can celebrate the Christmas season together. We’ll be enjoying a team lunch provided by Milly Oak Café and Catering and a festive gift exchange.
Regular hours will resume tomorrow, December 18th.

🍪 2025 Annual Cookie Bake-Off! 🎉

Our team has been busy baking and shopping for our two Adopt-A-Family recipients this year. A huge congratulations to Zoie, our Bake-Off Champion! 👑🍪

All remaining cookies were packaged up for the families. A sweet touch to help brighten their holidays.
A big thank-you to Brothers Big Sisters Lacombe & District for organizing this incredible Adopt-A-Family program every year. We’re so grateful to take part.

Together our team raised $180, all donated to our local food bank.
