Let’s talk BPL’s! Benign pigmented lesions are non-cancerous discolorations of the skin, which include conditions such as freckles, solar lentigines, café au lait birthmarks, and age spots. These lesions are typically harmless but may be a cosmetic concern for some individuals.
Laser treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that utilizes targeted light pulses to break up the excess pigment in the skin. Once the pigment is fragmented, the body’s immune system gradually eliminates it. While noticeable results can often be seen after just one treatment, multiple sessions may be required depending on the intensity and concentration of the pigment, to achieve the desired outcome.
The first picture in the slides is of my 66 year old mother’s darkest lesion on her forearm. She took the picture herself, and yes, she does the books on the farm with this big ol’ calculator and a giant ledger, lol! And she did give me permission to show you her before and after’s.
The second picture I took in the studio approximately 1 month later. These pictures don’t lie. This is her results after ONE treatment! I know. It’s almost hard to believe, yet here it is!
