My journey to become a therapist began far before I even realized it was happening. I’ve always been sensitive to others emotions, soft spoken, and tend to prefer listening rather than speaking. For a long time I believed these were weaknesses. However, I have come to embrace those traits as important strengths, especially in assisting me to facilitate space for others to also discover and embrace who they are.

It takes a lot of courage to come to therapy and my desire is to honour that courage in each of my clients. Pain is a normal part of life. However, in the midst of loss, fear, and brokenness, we can often lose track of ourselves; This can feel really lonely and overwhelming. Whatever you might be going through, I’m here to walk with you and help you reconnect to the strength and wisdom that may have been forgotten or hidden away. I believe the counselling relationship can be a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to rediscover those resources. Beyond your specific goals in therapy, my hope is that you will also discover greater congruence, self-esteem, and the capacity to make healthier choices.

I have a BA in Counselling and MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I offer trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive counselling for individuals, children, couples, and families.
