Ladysmith Winter Book Fest Brings Local Authors and Book Lovers Together
First Annual literary event at Eagles Hall on November 22nd
Book lovers and readers are invited to celebrate local literary talent at the Ladysmith Winter Book Fest on Saturday, November 22nd, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Eagles Hall, 971 Ist Ave.
The event offers a unique opportunity for the community to meet local authors, discover new reads, and purchase signed editions across a diverse range of genres, including murder mystery, gothic horror, young adult fiction, children's books, local history, non-fiction, and poetry.
"The Ladysmith Winter Book Fest is a wonderful celebration of our vibrant local writing community," said Jackie Sharp, local author and event host. "Whether you're looking for the perfect gift, want to support local authors, or simply love talking about books, this is an event not to be missed."
Attendees will have the chance to browse works from multiple authors, engage in conversations about their favourite genres, and find unique signed copies for their personal collections or holiday gift lists.
A limited number of spaces remain available for authors wishing to participate in the event.
The Ladysmith Winter Book Fest is hosted by Jackie Sharp, local author, in partnership with TAKE 5 Newsmagazine, the event's media sponsor.
