As people become more "green" and wish to do something beneficial to the earth and our oceans, Living Reef Memorial (Canada) was launched. Cremated Remains are mixed with cement, sand and crushed shells and cast into a scientifically designed mold. The Living Memorial Reefs are then placed into the Georgia Strait creating a living legacy for the one who has passed, as well as an artificial habitat for marine life. Living Reef Memorial (Canada) will work with any funeral home, funeral director and the general public across Canada and the USA pacific North West, to give the information you need to see if this project is fitting for you.
