Dental Emergeny is: severe uncontrolled bleeding, trauma that potentially compromises the airway, cellulitis as a result of an uncontrolled infection that potentially compromises the airway, uncontrolled pain or infection.
Dental Essential care for: pericorontis, dry socket, abscess with pain and swelling, treatment required before a critical medical procedure, avulsion or luxation of a tooth, tooth fracture with uncontrolled pain or causing soft tissue trauma.
According to the professionals advising dentists, all potential patients will be screened for Covid-19 symptoms or contact. Only one person at a time will be allowed in the office, most people will be managed with prescriptions before they are admitted to the office.

COVID-19 Update
In conjunction with the current concern about the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), dental offices have been advised by the British Columbia Dental Association to follow their Exposure Control Plan to protect staff and other patients from the spread of this infectious disease.
Before arriving for your scheduled dental appointment please assess whether you are experiencing the following:

• Do you have a fever, cough or acute respiratory illness (with or without pneumonia)
AND any of the following:

• Travelled to an affected area within 14 days prior to symptom onset
OR

• Had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
OR

• Other potentially relevant exposure such as close contact with someone who was ill and had travelled to an affected area in the 14 days before their symptom onset.

PATIENTS MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA are directed to phone to reschedule their appointment, before entering the office, and are advised to call ahead to their primary health care provider or walk-in-clinic and arrange for assessment by medical staff.

CDA needed to join team in a general dental office. Experience in Power Practice and digital charting/radiographs an asset. Permanent 3 days per week, 8:00 – 5:00, except Mondays 9:00 – 6:00. Will include some Fridays, usually once per month. We offer a pleasant slow-paced environment with great patients.
