Are you ready to get back into routine? I am! πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Yoga classes are starting up again soon, with September 11 the first day back.

There are still a handful of spaces left in both the Monday evening class (7:30-8:30pm) and Thursday morning class (10:30-11:30am).

If you've been one of the people asking me about yoga classes, and you've been wanting to try for the first time or get back into your practise, I invite you to join me.

I teach a gentle hatha class. All ages, levels and abilities are welcome and supported. Classes are different every week. They are slow paced with stretching, strength work and mindfulness.

The 2023 Fall Activity Guide contains information on all programs offered by Ladysmith Parks, Recreation and Culture from September to December, 2023.

Registration is open for the fall session of classes.

Join me tonight at 7pm for a gentle hatha yoga class focused on the deep core. You'll leave feeling like you really worked/strengthened your core, but of course, there's lots of time for rest and breath.

In tomorrow's class (Thursday 10:30am) we will be building up to come into some of the warrior postures, while also touching on the theme of suffering.

I hope you can join me for one or both of these classes.

At this point, yoga is still on for tonight. The focus is on exploring sensations: using the breath as a tool for pacing ourselves; moving slowly into and out of postures; asking questions; and finding and playing with our edges. We'll end our practise by exploring sensations through meditation.

I know it's hard on these dark, rainy nights to leave the house after a certain hour. But tonight's yoga class will get your blood flowing.

Tonight's class is focused on anxiety - more specifically postures and practises to decreases anxiety including mudras, chanting and gentle sun salutations.

It's just one hour, from 7-8pm, then you can go back home knowing you did something great for your body, mind and overall wellbeing.
