✂️ Kinesiology Tape in Action ✂️

Every horse’s body responds differently, in this particular case the effects started showing after I had taped the other side of his back.

The tape helps to increase circulation to promote healing and pain relief, improve fascia and muscle function, supports the lymphatic system, the body’s waste removal of products, dead cells and harmful microorganisms from tissues.

Kinesiology tape doesn’t replace manual massage work, but enhances the effects longer after the session.

October was a very nice change of pace, it is also one of my favourite times of the year and I’m glad I got to slow down and soak it in.

I completely yet another branding shoot with Deidra Kliner Photography and her lovely herd of horses and her pony. A few new horses have joined my bodywork practice as well.

November is looking to be pretty busy and almost a full… I do prioritize my regulars but if you’re new or looking to get back on a schedule. Message me to secure your spot.

September has been a slower month in my world, but it has allowed me to be more creative, reflect and think about next years goals. 🐴

It has been a busy year with horses, life and everything else in between.

Lara is wonderful to work with and PEMF is a great compliment to Equine Massage.

As show season is winding down, and our equine friends are starting to fluff up for Fall, it’s a perfect time to consider all they have done for us over the summer. Shows, clinics, rodeos, trails, baby sitting beginners and kids, perhaps they were on rest from injury? But now is a great time to help them heal, promote muscle recovery, and feel their best for Fall, and upcoming winter. 🐴 Has a decompression effect with the muscle tissue and nerves that results in pain relief, recovery and giving the joints more space.

🐴 Has almost an immediate effect on the area and the nervous system. Most horses will relax into it and start releasing! (licking & chewing)

🐴 Communicates with the brain to activate weak muscles. Many horses I work with can execute core engagement, lower the head & neck, use their hind-end and lift their back with the help of Kinesiology Tape.

🐴 It can support longer term. Meaning the body is continuing to make changes and release tension after the massage session.

August was surprisingly my busiest month yet this year with bodywork. 🤯 These are the days I spent years working towards and dreaming of. What a privilege it is to work with such lovely people and their horses and ponys.

We are halfway through August and feels like this month has flown by! It’s been a great month of seeing new and existing clients. 🐴

I currently have just one more opening on August 27th in the morning then I’m booking second week of September.

I’ll be away on vacation August 29th- September 8th. I’ll still be responding to messages, just may be a slower response than usual.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. ☀️
