Did you know that we celebrate National Bread Day!

Our amazing chefs prepared some mouth-watering baked goods, just to pay tribute to this special occasion.

Hot out of the oven was homemade Honey Beer Bread,
Crusty Honey rolls and and Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins!

Every resident of The Regency of Lakefield received their own takeout gift box for enjoying at their leisure.

At The Regency of Lakefield we remember and honour those who served and those who are currently serving.

On the 'eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month' in 1918 the Armistice was signed.

Today the nation falls silent at 11:00 in an act of Remembrance of all those who have served and sacrificed.

Tim Horton's can always be counted on to provide community support when you least expect it.
Today, the local Lakefield Tim Horton's treated the staff of The Regency Lakefield with fresh coffee and baked treats...why? Just because the staff are the hardest working individuals you could ever imagine and also because they just plain deserved a "Thank you for doing a great job".

And yes....they did share with the rest of their team members!

When the weather is great and the sun is shining, then it's time to hit the road and enjoy some of our amazing fall colours.
The ladies of The Regency of Lakefield had the same sentiments and stuck out to take some photos and enjoy some fresh autumn air.

Talk about a trip down Memory Lane!
Thanks to organizer Dave Butterworth, the Regency of Lakefield was added to the summer scheduling for the 2021 Seniors Cruise Car Show.
Over 16 classic vehicle, most dating prior to 1965 (the oldest being 1925), lined up for a fun afternoon of reminiscing to some great years.
Thanks goes out to Mike Morton for providing some 50's and 60's classic tunes and to Betty Francis and Maurice for their great parking organization skills.
The Regency Culinary Manager provided hot chocolate and hot apple cider to the residents and our diligent attendants served up some old style 50's and 60's popcorn...just to add that special touch to a fantastic day.
Many of the vehicles brought back some fond memories of music, socializing and yes, even a rumble seat or two.
