Happy Admin Day to the heart of Motus 💚

One of the things we’re most proud of is the people we get to work with every day. Our office team keeps everything running smoothly, juggles a million things at once, answers every question under the sun, and somehow still does it all with a smile.

They don’t just brighten our patients’ days, they brighten the entire clinic. We’re beyond grateful for this amazing team. Motus wouldn’t be the same without you ✨

Great connecting with the UBC Physio Victoria cohort at the VI Tech Park campus for their job fair. Thanks so much for having us! Jord couldn’t make it, but his presence was still very much felt 🫡

Sunday was a HUGE day for the runners in the run clinics - In preparation for the big show on April 26th, they did a 10k time trial at Elk Lake.

Our own physio Brandon Craipley got them off to a great start with a pre-run talk on the art of the warm-up - hopefully he helped every one of those runners build some confidence in the month leading up to the race!

Have you or a loved one had to wait far too long for a simple diagnostic image for an injury?

A solution for this problem sits right in front of us, we just need to take the steps to make it a reality. It is the position of the Physiotherapy Association of BC that Physios with advanced training should be authorized to order diagnostic imaging in order to fully utilize their scope of practice and contribute meaningfully to BC’s health care challenges.

⏳ We have ONE WEEK LEFT to influence B.C.’s provincial consultation on expanding PT scope of practice to include diagnostic imaging.

We’re excited to share that our clinic is now offering physiotherapy support for individuals undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. Hilary has completed advanced education in oncology rehabilitation and is passionate about helping clients feel stronger, more comfortable, and more confident throughout the recovery process.

Physiotherapy can be helpful during many stages of cancer treatment, including post-surgical recovery, improving mobility and strength, managing fatigue, addressing scar and soft tissue restrictions, and safely returning to exercise and everyday activities. Care provided by Hilary is always individualized and tailored to each person’s needs, goals, and energy levels.

With both professional training and personal experience recovering from breast cancer, Hilary brings a compassionate and informed approach to oncology rehab, with a focus on helping clients feel supported and empowered every step of the way.
