On November 11th, we gather together to honour the bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering service of the men and women who served and continue to serve in Canada’s Armed Forces.

We welcome you to join our residents, families, and community as we pause to remember, reflect, and give thanks for the peace and freedoms we are privileged to experience today.

Our ceremony will include readings, music, and a moment of silence. Whether you are near or far, we invite you to be with us in spirit and memory.

What a season it’s been! The local BMX racing year wrapped up this weekend with the Annual Year-End Banquet, and Alex was recognized for his incredible hard work, sportsmanship, and heart on (and off) the track. 🙌

Last year’s winner of the Endeavour Award, Alex helped present it this year — a true full-circle moment. He was also voted runner-up for Most Improved 11+, Most Inspirational, and Best On-Track Rivalry!

But the biggest highlight? 🏆 Alex was awarded the Evelyn Ooms Memorial Award — honoring the rider who shows determination, respect, kindness, and leadership every time they ride.
