Living Well with Chanelle I’m Chanelle, and I specialize in assisting athletes to grow and reach their full potential through optimized nutrition and personal training ✨

I believe nutrition is more than just eating “healthy food”. I am here to guide you to hopefully understand better, which foods to consume for your specific needs, as well as, when to consume them for better energy, glowing skin and to fully embrace how your body is truly meant to feel. Here is a little piece of my personal journey:

During my youth, you may have found me either at the ice rink figure skating, or in the forest, hunting for fairies. At the age of 19, Disney on Ice offered myself a role in their “Dare to Dream” production. This was a dream come true, as my life as a fairy was coming true! It was after a year of travelling with Disney, that I decided to pursue my post secondary education. I received a diploma for “Professional Sports Performance” and during this time I noticed my health was starting to decline. I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. I started to experiment with healthier foods, natural supplements, as well as specific exercise, and was noticing such positive changes. It was this, that peaked my curiosity around diet and nutrition, so I decided to enrol at the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition. After receiving my diploma in Holistic Nutrition, I felt my whole world had now opened up. I soon realized I could now use and share, what I am so blessed to call “my passion” to further guide and educate others such as yourself, how to discover your optimal health. On my days off, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, creating plant based recipes, moving my body, eating, sleeping and breathing all things healthy. I believe, with all my heart, my education and personal experiences, were all meant to be as the universe intended. It has lead me along this beautiful path to be able to work with others such as yourself...

I enjoy nothing more than being able to nurture my clients to better their own health, as well as inform you on what specific nutrition choices and individualized movement you might need. Together, we will find success in your health and wellness journey, so you can thrive mentally and physically, every day! This is me...

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my page! Below is a little background about who I am and how I got started in the health and fitness industry:

As a former competitive and professional figure skater, I was conditioned to living a very healthy lifestyle. Eventually, I realized that to maintain that same balance, it wasn’t quite as easy as it once use to be. I then decided to pursue a career in the wellness industry. During this time, I was experiencing some serious health issues of my own. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. After going through many challenges both physically and mentally, I am so fortunate to now be symptom free. I could not be more grateful for the unconditional Love and support from my family and friends.

After graduating in 2014 from the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence with a diploma in Sport Performance, I decided to take my love for health and fitness further and enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. After completing the 1 year advanced program at CSNN and receiving my diploma in Holistic Nutrition, I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and practicing professionally in the health and wellness industry in Victoria BC.

I am also BCRPA certified group, weight and personal trainer and enjoy being able to share my passion, knowledge and experience with clients to help them reach their optimal health goals. I believe in a teaching approach, whether it's to heal from an illness, gain or lose weight, or to simply achieve a more balanced life. I am here to help guide you along your journey so that you can be confident in succeeding and maintaining your nutrition and fitness regime.
