Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to share an important update regarding my practice:

Starting July 1, I will be discontinuing 20-minute follow-up appointments and moving to longer follow up sessions. This is a change I’ve been considering for some time, and I believe now is the right moment to implement it.

For those who have visited me, you know that my approach to chiropractic care is a bit different from the traditional model. I incorporate various techniques, including massage, mobilization, adjustments, and, most importantly, exercise. This change will allow us to dedicate more time to your goals, address any questions or concerns you may have, and create a comprehensive rehabilitation plan tailored specifically to you, ensuring a more thorough and personalized experience.

My goal is to redefine the chiropractic experience as a holistic and individualized journey and I believe doing away with short appointments times is an important step in this direction. Thank you for your understanding and support!

These boys 💙

Never would I have pictured how wonderful, hectic, magical, crazy, messy our lives would be. These little men made the mom I always longed to be and I am forever grateful. Tired and grateful ☺️

Just some of my thoughts. The more I talk to patients the more I realize there is some misunderstanding. Pilates is the perfect practice to incorporate for mind body connection, to develop strength in different ranges of motion that may otherwise seem daunting, to access movement and exercise when it may not seem possible. Pilates has taught me more about my body that I can ever truly explain and will continue to do so as I keep up my practice. It’s not just stretching folks😉.

Do I think Pilates is the ONLY thing you should do for exercise? Definitely not, while Pilates does build strength, you should still prioritize weights when possible. The beauty of Pilates is that it gives you a starting point and a check-in practice to build on.

And yes, I use Pilates OFTEN with my patients in the clinic. Ask me any questions 🤗

My ‘toxic trait’ is thinking I should be sharing more on my page but instead I wind up spending my down time reading papers, listening to podcasts, and taking mini courses.

One day soon I will start sharing more. But until then I’ll be filling my brain with latest information to serve you better.

ps. I am back to full time clinical hours and have opened up a lot more availability, including some Monday late evening shifts :)

Allow me to (re) introduce myself :). I’m Meredith, your friendly neighbourhood musculoskeletal practitioner (aka Chiropractor). While I share I lot of personal stuff on this page it did actually start as a professional account 😂

Here is what I want you to know about me:
- I’m a mom to 2 little boys
- Before becoming a chiro I worked in physio clinics doing active rehab, personal training, teaching Pilates and teaching ballet :)
- I love Pilates, but (especially now postpartum with 2 little people) I focus more on lifting and use Pilates as my rehab and accessory work.
- I really and truly love doing this job. I get so excited to see my patients making improvements and love to spend time taking continuing education courses so I can be the best practitioner I can be

So, why see me?

Your first appointment is 1 hour long. I want to get to know you, your history and your goals. We do a thorough assessment and discuss treatment options. Treatment is always included in the first appointment and you’ll leave with a plan going forward.

My follow up appointments are either 20 or 30 minutes. We work TOGETHER. Whether you want to spend your time doing hands on work, all exercise, or a combo of both - I’ve got you covered. We will always be checking in and re-assessing where you are at.

I work collaboratively with the wonderful physios, kinesiologist and RMTs in our clinic. I also love being part of your team outside of the clinic. I regularly communicate with doctors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, dentists, other physios and RMTs (etc)

I will always have time to answer your questions whether it’s during your session, via email, or DM. I want to help you understand what is going on and make sure you feel confident moving forward.

I just love this job and I love that I have the privilege of helping people feel their best 💙
