I kept trying to fit in.

I am not even sure where that was.

Not because I wanted to, I felt like I was supposed to.

I hid my needs, muted opinions, kept quiet so I wouldn’t make waves.

Here is the things:
Fitting in was costing me and exhausting!

The best thing I have ever done is choosing me.

Being honest about who I really am.

I love to lift weights
Quiet feels good
I feel deeply, and I feel your energy too✨
I love vegetables and healthy food choices make me feel my best
The outdoors fills me with so much happiness

My life now feels like me.

If you are tired of the “fitting in”
Here is your reminder:
You are allowed to be YOU
Take up space, speak your mind, do what feels best for your body.

I love seeing my clients break free from the all or nothing mindset💕

Dana used to feel guilty when she went away or was out on the weekends.

Dana has learned how to set herself up the best she can when she is away or in environments where she may not have a say in the food choices.

Now she can effortlessly return to her habits that make her feel best. Following the 80/20 guideline.

80% - sustainable habits that make Dana feel her best and get the results she is looking for. 🥗🥕🏋️‍♀️

20% - having flexibility in those habits to enjoy some indulgences and not stress, when out of her regular routine. 🍦🚶🏻‍♀️

Are you constantly on the go?

In autopilot mode?

Before I left on holidays my thought’s were, “if I just get this done, I can rest on holidays.”

This is NOT how I want to live my life.

Taking time away helped me see my life with a clear perspective.

Here are some questions I asked myself:

Do my daily habits truly feel good?
Am I saying yes, where I should really be saying no?

Here are some things I realized:

Go mode isn’t always growth and to be honest for myself, too much on the go feels exhausting and I do not believe I am showing up my best.

I love my life
-eating healthy food
-strength training
-working with amazing clients fills my cup!
-being outside
-healthy, fulfilling relationships and so much more

The over busy has got to go. This is a continual learning to say no💕

Even as a coach, I feel stuck sometimes.

Signing off for two weeks!

What does vacation look like….
-walking through meadows and lying on the beach
-fun and laughter with beautiful friends💕
-same food I always enjoy-lots of fresh veggies and fruit, protein and I am sure some treats along the way🍎

AND
No lifting weights!

Am I worried about it? No. It is what I planned ahead of time.

This trip is about being in nature, slowing things down and giving my body a rest that is very much needed.

Before you head out on vacation, create a plan. How do you want to show up-decide before you get there as this will take away the stress of “I didn’t train while I was away”

Pay attention.

What are you really needing to allow yourself to have some quiet time and take the best care of yourself.

See you from the trails and toes in the sand!

Started over
Pushed through rejection, doubt, exhaustion and still, kept going

Was it scary…sure
Did you die🙃
Nope!

Fear can seem loud! YOU are stronger than the fear

You just need to be willing.

-to feel the fear
-bet on you
-make time for you
-be excited for you!

You never taught me to diet, you taught me to nourish🥕

To keep life simple, wholesome and encourage me to create space for joy in the little things.

You have not judged my crooked path, some obscure detours or when I have stumbled along the way. You continue to show up with love.

You have shown up on the hard days and joined in on the bright days too. You have said yes to the unknown, the adventures and the growth together through the years.

Do you know the mistakes I had to make to learn to create a happy, healthy and fulfilling life?

This is what control looked like
-I overtrained
-Ate with rigid rules
-I said yes to everyone else
-my routines were so strict, I missed the joys of being in the moment
-I believed that if everything was perfect, life around me would get better and I should feel okay

Perfection was not the path
Health was not meant to feel so rigid

Once I realized control was not safety, the softness came back. I listened to my body, paid attention to my soul and stopped managing my discomforts with extreme rules

Joy came back
Laughter returned
Appreciation for my strength, body and mind

I move because I want to feel strong, I built healthy sustainable habits to support my body and show up in life in a way that feels so good

I help other women do the same💕

You do not have to make the same mistakes I did!
