Your future starts here! Learn how to apply for Persons with Disabilities benefits in a supportive space. 📝🌈

We are holding a Persons with Disabilities Application Workshop for youth ages 17-24 on Wednesday, May 13.

This workshop will break down the persons with disabilities application with the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, especially pertaining to q***r people with mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns.

This will be facilitated by Counsellor Nat Keeling (they/them) RSW.

Face masks are required.

Date: Wednesday, May 13th

Time: From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Please note that registration happens in person on arrival, and if you’re new to Foundry, we recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early.

Congratulations to Dr. Anita Wong for being this year’s recipient for the 2026 BC Family Physician of the Year reward! 🎊

Dr. Anita Wong has played a pivotal role in advancing specialized youth primary care in Langley. We have had the honour and pleasure of working alongside her through our Langley Youth Hub and Foundry Langley programs.

Her compassion and commitment are evident in all she does in the community. Not only does she continue to provide direct clinical care to youth and families, she is a dedicated educator mentoring the next generation of physicians as a clinical instructor with UBC and the upcoming SFU School of Medicine, supporting residents in developing community-focused practices. We are incredibly fortunate to have her on our team and are thrilled to congratulate her on this well-deserved award.

A safe space to share, connect, and grow. Join Rooted and Rising now.

Rooted and Rising is an expressive and therapeutic space for youth from underrepresented communities (inclusive of youth with diverse ethnocultural identities, different abilities, and 2SLGBTQIA+ identifying folx, etc.) to build connections, community, and share stories. For youth ages 12 to 24.

Dates: March 17th, April 21st, May 19th, June 16th, July 21, August 18, September 15th.

Time: 3:30 pm-5:00 pm

If you’re curious about your own substance use – or how someone else’s use has impacted you – you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Our Substance Use & Prevention counsellors and support workers are here to talk, judgement-free.

We work from a harm-reduction lens, which means you don’t need to quit substances to reach out. Just come as you are.
