As we age, nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining our health and vitality.
To ensure seniors are getting the nutrients they need, focus on the following:
🫘Choose whole grains to boost fiber intake
🥑Incorporate foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids for heart health and cognitive function
🌊Stay hydrated throughout the day to avoid dehydration
🥜Boost nuts and seeds to provide healthy fats and proteins

Care Advocate, Family Focused, Father, World Traveler
“My clients are like my family.”
The first time I looked into starting a home care business was when I moved to Canada from the U.K. several years ago. It didn’t work out at the time, but the desire to give back through home care never truly left and grew stronger after some personal experiences with caregiving
First, my grandmother back in the U.K. took ill. She required 24-hour care. We found her a good and reliable caregiver, and it made such a difference. Being so far away, all the way across the Atlantic, it was such a relief to me knowing she was receiving the care she needed on a daily basis from a compassionate and trusted professional.
Then, only a few months later, my father was diagnosed with cancer, and I moved back to the U.K. for his last several months. The experience of helping him through this time and taking care of him had a profound impact on me.
A few years later, I had major surgery and it was a long recovery. A wonderful caregiver came to my home four times a week to help me. She connected with me and my family from the first day we met and actually felt like a member of our family. This was a great relief and peace of mind, as without her support it would have been very difficult.
Through these experiences, I knew I had to do something to give back to others. When the home care option came up again, this time it really clicked into place. Not long after, I began my home care business.
As a family member of a loved one receiving care, as well as someone who has received in-home care myself, I’ve experienced many of the things that my clients and their families are going through. This makes it more than just a business. I treat my clients like family and give them the same high-quality care I would want for my own loved ones.
Helping others to live safe, comfortable lives is what this business is all about and that extends to the clients’ families as well. It’s important to me that my clients and their families feel relief and receive peace of mind at every step of their care journey, so everyone can live their best lives possible.
