We are so thankful for the support of our new Abbotsford location 🤗

Our practitioners are available to book now through September! A couple things to note:

—> Kristina is working Wednesdays in Abbotsford
—> We have RMT availability to fit your schedule (mornings, evenings)
—> Daveena (physio) will be working Tuesdays 2-6pm and will be approved for ICBC patients in the near future
—> Alecs, Leeza, Natasha and soon to be Adam, all accept ICBC patients for RMT
—> Leah (kinesiologist) will be coming to Abbotsford 1 day a week and also accepts ICBC patients very

Some recent Novo outings in the community ☀️

We have some injuries amongst our Abbotsford crew so, our “staff workout” this month was naturally, at 🙌🏼

The Langley crew took a reformer pilates class a few weeks ago at our fav studio, with Janet 💪🏼

Welcome Daveena! 🤗

Daveena is our new physiotherapist and will be working out of our Abbotsford clinic on Tuesdays from 2-6pm starting June 24th!

Daveena graduated from UBC with a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2024 after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UFV. She brings experience from a variety of clinical environments including acute care, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic post-surgical care, private practice and long-term care.

Her clinical interests include, neurological rehabilitation, women’s health, and working with older adults. She has completed her Level 1 certification with the Orthopaedic Division as well as the Rehab Reformer Level 1 in Clinical Pilates.

When Daveena isn’t in clinic, she enjoys exploring new fitness styles and trying out creative recipes in the kitchen 🙂

Daveena’s schedule is now bookable online at our Abbotsford clinic. We are so excited to welcome her to the Novo Crew! 🥳

Meredith joined Novo as our chiropractor 5 years ago today (okay June 7th so I’m 2 days late on this post 😂)

I think it’s obvious I (Kristina) adore Meredith but I will say objectively we couldn’t have asked for a better person to come onboard as we were figuring out the clinics’ identity and getting things off the ground.

She is smart, passionate, kind, confident yet humble, she is adventurous, and all the things you’d love to see in a person and also a practitioner. I so value her expertise and leadership, and every member of our team benefits from it on the daily

She’s part of our core and a huge part of Novo and we couldn’t have done a lot of things without her ❤️

Welcome, Adam! 🙌🏼

Adam is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a strong foundation in kinesiology and passion for movement and rehabilitation. Adam graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018 and then went on to teach Orthopaedics and lead the athletic massage outreach program from 2019-2024.

Adam is especially passionate about injury rehab - from sports-related issues to trauma and overuse injuries. CrossFit is how him and Kristina first connected so, if you have a background in CrossFit etc. - Adam is your guy! Skateboarders also strongly welcome 😁

Outside of the clinic, Adam spends lots of time being active with his wife and daughter. In his own time, you can find him playing recreational sports, working out or skateboarding! 🛹 🙂

Adam will be working out of our Abbotsford location on Friday mornings starting in June (schedule to be released shortly).

We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the Novo Crew🥳

A physiotherapist designed running program! This is our “Learn to Love Running Program” that Novo is well known for and this round we are taking you from beginner/running hater to a 10km superstar over 12 weeks! Leah will be leading our Abbotsford program and Kristina will be leading Langley.

Abbotsford: Tuesdays 6:15pm at Rotary Stadium with Leah - Starting June 10th

Langley: Wednesdays 6:00pm at McLeod Athletic Park Track with Kristina - Starting June 11th

- 12 weeks of 3 progressive runs (1 run to be done in a group, 2 on your own)
- Weekly run clinics or accessory workouts in your online course
- $200 per person (free for novo moves full access members)

This program is designed for beginners! This is a great way to start your running journey with support and fun 👟🙂

ABBOTSFORD

It’s the eve of our opening and we are so excited to get to be a part of your community! We have some very loyal Novo patrons so I’m going to ask a favour… please tag your Abbotsford friends or people you’d like to know we are open out in your neighbourhood— and we will have a giveaway! It will be some Novo merch and an RMT massage for you and your tagged friend! Winner will be chosen at random 😊

We are 1 week away from possession out of new Abbotsford location!

Both our 5km & 10km running programs are off to a great start! We’ve welcomed over 20 members between the two and look forward to being apart of all their running journeys 🤗 👟

Clinic Update:

We wanted to let everyone know that Marika will be spreading her wings and moving to the Sunshine Coast with her last day at Novo being April 10th. We know Marika has left a special impact on her patients and we will be working on transitioning everyone to a physio best suited to your needs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
