What if dementia care was built around living fully? At The Village Langley, daily life includes gardens, fresh air, and time spent with goats and chickens on a working farm. It is a setting designed to support freedom of movement, meaningful activity, and connection to the world around you.

Recently featured on CBC, The Village is showing what is possible when dignity and engagement shape the way care is delivered. The model is now being researched, with the hope that more families across Canada can benefit from this approach.

🎨At Paint and Sip, we focused on building our confidence in painting. Instead of traditional brushes, we used Q Tips during our dot art session to create heart trees. It was a fun Valentine’s themed painting program that brought together all skill levels.

Our volunteers make the difference at The Village Langley. Thank you for being a Coffee Friend at Elroy’s Bistro. Villagers appreciate having a barista who knows how to prepare their coffee, takes time to chat, and even lends a hand with a word search. 💛

🎂We are honoured to celebrate one of our Villager's 101st Birthday this past week! In celebrating, we came together and watched The Silver Diamonds Line Dancing group. It was amazing afternoon filled with laughter, excitement, family and friends and delicious birthday cake.
